Legal and Copyright Stuff
All tracks must be original, unpublished, and unsigned: Any music you submit should be your own original creation and must not have been published or signed to any other library or entity. To avoid legal complications, make sure that your work remains completely under your control until it’s licensed by the library.
Tracks cannot be rebranded or copied from other libraries: It’s essential that the tracks you submit are unique and have not been previously used in other music libraries under different titles. Simply renaming a track does not change its copyright status, so avoid submitting music that infringes on existing copyrights.
All music must be free of uncleared samples or any part that violates copyright: Any track you submit should not contain any unauthorized samples or musical elements that belong to someone else. If you’re using samples, make sure they are legally cleared and don’t infringe on anyone’s rights. Otherwise, the track will be unusable for licensing.
You can use sounds from sample packs, but avoid using entire loops or melodic sections without changes: While it’s okay to incorporate sounds from licensed sample packs, avoid submitting music that uses full melodic loops or “construction kits” without substantial modification. Always ensure that any samples are transformed enough to make them original, and check the sample pack’s terms of use to confirm that they allow library music licensing.
