When you sign along the dotted line, you are licensing all approved tracks exclusively and indefinitely to Jollof Life Music. In return, you will receive 50% of your artist share from any income the music generates at the source.

Because this is an exclusive agreement, you cannot license these tracks elsewhere. Once a track is signed to Jollof Life Music, the licensing rights are fully assigned to us and cannot be re-licensed to another party.

You will be accounted for twice yearly, with statements and payments issued at the end of March and September.

Although we will assist where needed, it is your responsibility to register with a Performance Rights Organisation (PRO), such as:

• PRS (UK)
• ASCAP (USA)
• GEMA (Germany)

Make sure to provide us with your unique reference number (e.g., IPI/CAE number) before we release your track. Otherwise, you risk missing out on Income, which is paid in addition to your royalties from us.

This also applies to Neighbouring Rights Income, though this isn’t available in every country.

Please be sure you are comfortable with these terms. Once the agreement is signed and returned, the licensing cannot be reversed.
