LOOPS & VOCAL LOOPS
It has become apparent that many tracks are missing their loop edits. We also need to highlight the importance of creating vocal versions of the loops and commercial edits (15 & 30 seconds) of your tracks.

Vocal loops with just the right hook and ad-libs are a useful tool for editors to help capture the vibe of the song syncing to footage such as; shopping, wellness, games, nature, technology, cosmology, sports, exercise, children etc…

We know creating extra edits is more work, but we believe it’s worth it and increases usage. The market is getting tougher, and we need to stand out from the crowd. These quirky extras give us something special to shout about and draw attention to our authentic offerings.

If you are producing a track with vocals, a priority should be making sure that you are doing the track and vocalist justice by including the vocals in the various edits and not just the main version. The vocals tell a story; they create a mood that could be completely missed out on by only having instrumental versions. Please put as much passion into the edits, as you did when creating the main mix.

DJ MIXES
DJ mixes are a new concept in the library world, which we are investing our time into to make our music more accessible. Loops are great tools for the DJ mixes of the albums, as they can be used to create hooks.

The DJ mixes will be used as a key promotional tool, enticing our clients to listen and get immersed into our music, they will also be great for social media.

They demonstrate our authenticity and stance as the Dance Music Library, our music and our culture. Most importantly they are fun to do and are experimental, which resonates with the listener, to buy in.

OTHER COMMERCIAL VERSIONS
Other commercial versions (15 & 30 seconds) are really appealing to editors and broadcast companies because they are already cut down to specific lengths and can be used with no editing. The same as with the loops, making the lives easier for the end user,adding value and showing the diversity of our products.
